Her Story

Rooted in
South Fulton

Sojourner Marable Grimmett is a wife, mother, and compassionate servant leader with more than two decades of dedicated service to the communities she calls home. Her commitment to South Fulton is not new — it has been the constant thread running through every role she has held, every board she has served on, and every family she has fought for.

She brings to this race a rare combination: the executive experience to manage a complex county government, the community trust built through years of on-the-ground work, and the personal investment that comes from raising a family right here in District 5.

Sojourner believes public leadership must be driven by purpose, equity, and accountability — and she is ready to bring that belief to Fulton County's Commission.
